About us
Although we took over in 2023, we have spent over 40 years in the trade, running shops in Suffolk and Essex. Over the years we have built up relationships with many market leading suppliers, most of whom still serve us today. Thankfully very early morning starts to buy fish from London's Billingsgate Market (both the old market which was located on Lower Thames Street and the newer market on the Isle of Dogs in east London ) have now passed!
We are passionate about Fish and Chips and our mission is the same as it has always been -
to provide a great product and to constantly exceed our customers expectations.
Our family connections to Sheringham
My wife's (who is also my business partner!) grandfather, Peter Brookes Thomason was born in North Walsham in 1919 and went to school at Greshams in Holt. They moved to Sheringham where his father had a house and Dentistry on The Boulevard and also a Dental surgery in Cromer. As a result my wife's mother and her sisters spent a lot of their childhood and early adulthood holidaying regularly in Sheringham with their parents and grandparents, enjoying the beach and pony rides. They made such good friends with the owners of the ponies that they all got a ride back to the house in the evening when the ponies went home!
They all have very fond memories of Sheringham and through the generations we all continue to enjoy this beautiful coastal town.
